MileSTONES III

Creative cultural cooperation
as a tool for stronger tourism capacity and development

The overall objective of the
MileSTONES III Project
is the improvement
of the capacity to manage
and revitalize cultural heritage
and support growth in tourism.

Project Beneficiaries

The project is implemented by the Municipality of Dodoni in cooperation with the Municipality of Finiq, the Municipality of Preveza and the Regional Directorate of National Culture – Vlore

Budget

The total budget of the project is 938.170,00 €, being co-funded by the European Union and by National Funds of Greece and Albania

Actions

Creation of 2 folklore exhibition spaces, restoration activities, organization of cross-border cultural festivals & tourism promotion actions

Duration

Acceleration of the process of tourism development and capacity building of tourist actors of the area to present their unique and common cultural assets and reveal journeys in history, nature and culture

Impact

The project started on November 30, 2019 and is expected to finish on December 01, 2021

The project is being implemented in the framework of the Interreg IPA CBC Programme “Greece – Albania 2014 – 2020”
